Huntington -- On Tuesday, May 21, 2013, Deacon Michael Edathil received his Master of Divinity degree from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception. The degree is awarded at the successful completion of four years of theological training. Along with his classmates, he received his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception. In addition to the MDiv degree, the Seminary offers a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies for candidates to the permanent diaconate, as well as a Master of Arts degree for seminarians and laity.

New Hyde Park, NY - The Syro-Malankara Catholic Apostolic Exarchate in the USA will formally welcome His Beatitude Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, the Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, this weekend in New York. This will mark His Beatitude's first visit to the Exarchate after his elevation to the College of Cardinals last November.
Huntington, NY -- The Department of the Family Apostolate of the Exarchate conducted a Pre-Cana (Marriage Preparation) Course on April 27, 28 at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, New York. 15 persons from the Tristate New York parishes participated in the Course. Houston -- On Sunday, April 21, 2013, His Excellency Bishop Mar Eusebius celebrated the Holy Qurbono at St. Peter's Malankara Catholic Parish in Houston. After the Holy Qurbono, His Excellency blessed the central cross of the new church building which is under construction. On this occasion, His Excellency also met with the parish committee and the church construction committee to discuss the progress of the building project.
